A live auction, catered hors d’oeurves, a BBQ dinner, costumed famous historic Saratogans and more will be on the program for this annual Saratoga Historical Foundation fundraiser. Dinner with Friends — Past and Present promises an entertaining afternoon at the historic Garrod Ranch in Saratoga. The meal includes catered hors d’oeuvres, BBQ dinner, and Cooper-Garrod Estate wines.
This annual fundraiser provides funding for all Saratoga Historical Foundation program and events. This year, the entertainment includes a live auction by famous auctioneer Frank Sunseri. Paddles will be waiting for the lineup of auction items including a private studio tour of KBAY by Lissa Kreisler; dinner prepared by Saratoga firefighters at the station; weekend getaway packages and more. A silent auction will also be held and includes paintings by local artists; restaurant gift certificates; tickets to local events and a surprise or two.
Longtime rancher Vince Garrod will give an entertaining talk on Saratoga of yesteryear. And the Skillet Likkers will croon old-time favorites. Costumed Saratoga historic figures will mingle with the crowd. (Have a question for Saratogan Olivia deHavilland or her sister Joan Fontaine?) Be prepared for having fun!
