The Cupertino Library is part of the Santa Clara Library system. It is housed in a modern, two-story, 54,000 square foot building. The first floor features a new books area, a current issue magazine and newspaper display area with comfortable seating, as well as a media collection. Located on the outside corner of the library is a small cafe operated by Coffee Society. Also on the main floor is an extensive Children's Room area.

The second floor of the library houses the Adult and Teen areas, and provides an added bonus of wonderful views of the East Bay Hills and of Mount Hamilton. Also on the second floor are all of the adult reference, business reference, fiction and non-fiction collections, and back issues of magazines and newspapers. There are private rooms available on this floor.

A courtyard brings natural light to the interior of the library, as well as views from both floors. The south side looks out onto a lovely grove of redwood trees. Throughout the building are many public access computers, study tables, study chairs and lounge chairs.
