    Stanford Afro-Latin Jazz Ensemble with Trombonist Doug Beavers Dinkelspiel Auditorium - Stanford University Stanford Afro-Latin Jazz Ensemble with Trombonist Doug Beavers Presented by Stanford University Department of Music at Dinkelspiel Auditorium - Stanford University May 26, 2012 The acclaimed Stanford Afro-Latin Jazz Ensemble, directed by Murray Low, presents its Spring concert featuring guest artist Doug Beavers on trombone. Originally from the Bay Area, Mr. Beavers is now internationally recoginzed as a key figure in latin jazz. Mr. Beavers is a member of Eddie Palmieri's La Perfecta Dos, as well as the Spanish Harlem Orchestra. He also leads his own band, Conjunto Rovira. The Sinfonia is comprised of young musicians with excellent technical skills, working to cultivate artistic quality and maturity.
