She learns her young prince was mixed up with a gondolier's son, so they must rule together until it is proven which is the king! This delightful mix-up of Spanish royalty and Venetian gondoleri and contadine is filled with some of the most tuneful and danceable music in the Gilbert and Sullivan canon.
