    Peralta Adobe and Fallon House Historic Site

    The Peralta Adobe and Fallon House Historic Site is available for tour by appointment. Located in San Pedro Square, this historic site is a jewel in the heart of downtown San Jose. It is managed by History San José.

    The Peralta Adobe, built in 1797, is San Jose’s oldest address. It has an outside working oven and two rooms furnished as they might have been when they were occupied centuries ago.

    The exquisite Fallon House was built in 1855 by Thomas Fallon, one of San Jose’s earliest mayors. The Victorian mansion showcases fiteen fully furnished rooms typical of the Victorian period.

    The Victorian Gardens at the Fallon House offer a lovely, undiscovered retreat from the urban hustle and bustle. Meeting rooms are available in the Fallon House and the City Store.
