It starts with some comedy on the lobby walls and never stops when you step inside. A perfect cast of lead actors that is so good that they overcome the limitations of a pre- recorded orchestra. The timeless script and score from this Mel Brooks classic opens the gate for sharp comedic timing, excellent choreography and clever staging. Director Bill Starr has found a great spot to step up the diverse song and dance talents of Luke Chapman as the book-keeper turning into an an apprentice producer-partner for " Max Bialystock " ( Dan Demers ) - who also fits the part perfectly as the struggling, desperate veteran producer. Comedic and musical talent run deep with a parade of actors that flawlessly fill the supporting roles of this Broadway classic. The plot is clever, the characters are Brooks-brilliant and the songs are priceless. Satirical wit infiltrates this script and carries us into a timeless, smiling peek behind the curtains of Broadway. Collapse
