San Jose Jazz

San Jose Jazz is a 25-year-old public benefit corporation whose mission is to enrich the community through education and performance. The organization's purpose is to enhance the recognized value of arts to the individual and society, to use music and events to bring people together, and to help build a stronger, more vibrant community through the arts.
 
San Jose Jazz is renowned for producing one of the finest live music events in the U.S., the San Jose Jazz Summer Fest. In 2011, the festival presented 100 performances on 10 stages, drawing 100,000 spectators and participants. This organization also produces a variety of other Jazz concerts and events, and education programs that are bring creativity back into our schools.

	Ballet San Jose Ballet San Jose (BSJ) has announced its 2012 season which opens March 2 and runs through May 6, 2012. The three-program season will feature a large number of company premieres including Jerome Robbins’ Interplay, Clark Tippet’s Bruch Violin Concerto and Ben Stevenson’s full-length story ballet, Cinderella. Subscriptions to the season will go on sale January 17th. Single tickets to the three individual programs will be available after February 13th. Subscriptions: $78.00 to $255.00. 	San Jose Museum of Art Established in 1969, the San Jose Museum of Art is a distinct voice in the Bay Area arts community. The collection exhibits the unique evolution of the institution from a small civic art gallery to a museum in the tenth largest city in the United States.
	San Jose Repertory Theatre San Jose Repertory Theatre is a professional theatre company serving Santa Clara Valley. Season productions consist of exciting, challenging, entertaining and evocative plays selected from classical and contemporary periods. Also known as San Jose Rep, this organization presents six mainstage shows annually. Its mission is to engage, entertain and inspire people. It produces innovative theatrical performances that offer fresh perspectives into the human condition, educational programs that promote life-long learning, and outreach initiatives that benefit our diverse community.
	Children's Discovery Museum Children's Discovery Museum was chosen as one of the Top 10 Best Museums for Kids by Parents Magazine. 	Broadway San Jose Broadway San Jose is part of the nationally renowned Nederlander Organization, one of the country’s largest and most experienced operators of live theater. In association with Team San Jose, this organization started bringing touring Broadway musicals and other events to San Jose in the fall of 2009. Its performances take place at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts, located at 255 Alamaden Boulevard in San Jose. Its administrative office location is listed below.
