Students, families, co-workers, neighbors, book lovers and all Silicon Valley residents are invited to participate in the annual Silicon Valley Reads Month in February. Presented by the Santa Clara County Office of Education, the Santa Clara County Library and the San Jose Public Library Foundation, Silicon Valley Reads is designed to promote reading and literacy, broaden the exposure to and appreciation of good literature, and build community.

	Invoking Peace... Islamic Art Exhibit - Silicon Valley Reads Presented by Euphrat Museum of Art and Silicon Valley Reads at Euphrat Museum of Art February 3-March 17, 2012 Invoking Peace interweaves tradition and innovation, faith and activism. It emphasizes the immense diversity of Islamic art and reveals shared concerns. Artworks range from site-specific installations, classical and experimental calligraphy and paintings to product designs for cultural needs, digital arts, sculpture and ceramics.
