The Choral Project, founded by Artistic Director Daniel Hughes in 1996, has been hailed by the San Jose Mercury News as "a Bay Area jewel," and extolled by the Bay Area Reporter as "pure balm for the ears." This 45-voice ensemble has developed an outstanding reputation for performing high-level choral literature and bridging the gap between text and music, singer and spectator. The Choral Project's musical programming is broad and diverse, ranging from early renaissance to contemporary, including world music, gospel, spirituals and jazz.

The Choral Project has released eight albums: The Cycle of Life, Of Christmastide, Americana, Water & Light (the group’s #1 best seller on the Clarion label), Winter, One is the All, Tell the World, and most recently Yuletide, a festive collection of holiday favorites. All these recordings can be found on our website, iTunes and CDBaby.com.
