Formed by a group of progressive business people in 1954, one of its first tasks was to help incorporate the City of Cupertino. It is a nonprofit business organization with members that employ more than 10,000 people. It collaborates with government, education, and private industry to assist and strengthen local businesses, to be an advocate for business, and to affect the high quality of life for which Cupertino is known.

    The Chamber provides leadership and direction for community action. Its staff runs a variety of programs that help make conducting business in Cupertino a rewarding experience. Chamber members have unique opportunities to gain new customers, work with local government, and participate in the city they call their business home.
