Starting Arts is a California-based nonprofit arts organization dedicated to promoting quality arts education in public schools. Starting Arts actively promotes the four arts disciplines of Dance, Theatre, Music and Visual Arts. It employs professional artists-in- residence to teach standards-based curricula which include not only art knowledge and appreciation, but emphasize performance and exhibition, as well.
