Mission City Opera presents affordable, intimate and personal opera of the highest musical quality in English for contemporary audiences in Silicon Valley. Local talent includes Mission City Opera founder and director Sharon Kaye (operatic mezzo soprano), as well as stage director and set designer Mark Austin (an Academy Award nominee). Performances are sponsored in part by the City of Santa Clara and its Cultural Advisory Commission.
