All Shook Up Presented by Foothill Music Theatre and Foothill College Theatre Arts Department at Lohman Theatre - Foothill College February 23-March 11, 2012 All Shook Up is a rollicking musical romp through the 1950s, featuring hit songs made famous by Elvis Presley, and is based on a book by Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro. Natalie, the town's tomboyish mechanic, is swept off her feet when guitar-playing roustabout Chad rides into her sleepy town and turns it upside-down with his contraband rock 'n' roll. Unsure how to capture his attention, she disguises herself as "Ed" and becomes Chad's new sidekick-in-training. 	The Laramie Project - Foothill College Presented by Foothill College Theatre Arts Department at Lohman Theatre - Foothill College November 4-November 20, 2011 In October 1998, Matthew Shepard was kidnapped, severely beaten and left to die, tied to a fence on the outskirts of Laramie, Wyoming. Five weeks later, Moisés Kaufman and fellow members of the Tectonic Theater Project went to Laramie, and over the course of the next year, conducted more than 200 interviews with people of the town. From these interviews they wrote the play The Laramie Project, a chronicle of the life of the town of Laramie in the year after the murder. 	My Sister Eileen Presented by Foothill College Theatre Arts Department at Lohman Theatre - Foothill College November 6-November 22, 2009 Two plucky sisters from Columbus, Ohio move into a basement apartment in Greenwich Village in the 1940's amidst New York's subway system construction. Their transition brings them to discover much about life in the big city and each other. Filled with memorably quirky characters and a visit from the Brazilian Navy, this charmingly humorous play, derived from the stories of Ruth McKenney, later became the basis of the musical hit Wonderful Town.   I got to see this show on Saturday night and it was amazing. The cast is terrific - the staging is well done. This show can be confusing because each actor plays several roles, but this production... Expand

  I got to see this show on Saturday night and it was amazing. The cast is terrific - the staging is well done. This show can be confusing because each actor plays several roles, but this production doesn't create that confusion. Each character is very real and well defined by the actors. I cried several times during the show - it is very moving, and really makes you think. I highly recommend this show to everyone - though it should probably be rated PG-13 because of some of the language. Also a tip - try to park in Lot 8, which is right in front of the theater. If you park in Lot 1 you have to drive all the way around the campus in order to exit. Collapse

  This production is simply fantastic. The characters come alive and the acting is rich. You should not miss this production, go now you will not be disappointed.
