    The South Bay Traditional Jazz Society was formed in 1972 to perpetuate Dixieland Jazz, Swing, Ragtime, etc. Their monthly events provide a place for jazz musicians to meet, as well as a place for people to dance. They work with other jazz organizations, issue a monthly newsletter listing jazz events, provide outreach programs to seniors, and support youth bands that encourage young musicians to play traditional jazz and ragtime.
