It was written by Len Jenkin, based on the novles of Beverly Cleary, and directed by Jillian Toby-Cummings.   Today I attended the matinee and came away anxious to write a review. I had never seen the musical version - I laughed, I cried. The show was cast and directed well, the kids were outstanding... Expand

  Today I attended the matinee and came away anxious to write a review. I had never seen the musical version - I laughed, I cried. The show was cast and directed well, the kids were outstanding vocalists and I was most impressed with the young lady who played Jo. This was a notch above most youth theater productions and I'd highly recommend it. Young kids may not be as captured by it as adults. Don't miss this LAYT production! Collapse
