The Peninsula Women's Chorus, founded in 1966, is a fifty voice women's choir performing high quality classical and contemporary music locally and in many parts of the world. Committed to excellence in the performance of diverse and challenging choral literature for women's voices, it has come to national and international attention through live performances and recordings, and has added significantly to choral literature by commissioning new music. The chorus inspires and enriches its audiences through its concert series, its ongoing program of premiering new works, and its numerous collaborations with other Bay Area performing groups.

	Women's Exchange Festival - Choral Festival Presented by Peninsula Women's Chorus at McAfee Performing Arts and Lecture Center November 7, 2011 The Peninsula Women's Chorus will take part in this intergenerational celebration of the purity and power of treble voices, joining six local high school choirs in a unique festival that showcases individual and combined choruses at Saratoga High School's McAfee Center. Following featured programs by each choir, the evening will conclude with a combined performance by 200 voices.
