The Silicon Valley Moon Festival is a free family and community event, held for the second year at the Orchard Farm Shopping Center. More than a dozen local groups will present dance, music, kung fu, singing, lion dance, and more throughout the two-day Silicon Valley Moon Festival, including performers from the San Jose-based Chinese Performing Arts of America.

Moon Festival of Silicon Valley, formerly held in Cupertino, has been an annual event since 1999. In its new home at Orchard Farm Shopping Center, its 14,000 square foot facillity will host many booths for arts, crafts, services and goods. This event provides a showcase of court attire of six dynasties in China from 200 BC to 1900 AD. The other theme is a showcase of different nationalities in China today. The production is accompanied by instrumental music and dance of different times.
