  Fortunately, the music of ELO, whose songs were infused in the original film, come along for the ride, too, so now, after a successful Broadway tour, the stunning winner of an Outer Critics Circle Award and Drama Desk Award, has rolled right into the Bay Area in, perhaps, the most fitting portal of all: The Retro Dome in San Jose.

  If you love the 60's & 70's and that AUSTIN POWERS Mojo Magic, you'll love SHOUT! The 5 Colorful gals on stage will knock your socks off with their Broadway Caliber Singing & Dancing & their deliciously naughty english accents! Set in London, the Gals share their personal stories, some truly hilarious, some a tad nasty (BEHAVE!) some endearing and all enjoyable and entertaining. My favorite number's include COLDFINGER a luscious and sexy tribute to James Bond's Girls, a fun GEORGY GIRL / WINDY Duet, TO SIR WITH LOVE, SIGN OF THE TIMES, YOU DON'T HAVE TO SAY YOU LOVE ME & there's about 20 more songs equally as fun & thrilling. Kudos to Director & Musical Director Scott & Stephen Guggenheim and Crew and the Brilliant Cast of ladies who are all simply Gorgeous. This is 5 STAR Entertainment! Collapse

  XANADU is a wonderfully directed & very entertaining experience. The ensemble truly gave their all in singing & dancing & their enthusiasm & performance was thoroughly captivating & engaging. The costumes & set design were a joy to behold. There was so much to look at & each individual character was eye-candy in itself. Loved the Centaur Creature & Cyclops appearances. The cast had voices that wouldn't quit & to do a 90 minute musical with no intermission, they must be highly commended for sheer stamina alone. The choreography was top drawer & fun to watch. Sarah Aili as Kira/Clio was endearing & her australian pronunciation was a hoot. Such a beautiful singing voice. Other standout's were Hilary LIttle as Melpomene & Shannon Guggenheim as Calliope who nailed the song "Evil Woman" & everything they sang. Stephen Guggenheim as Danny, has the voice of a God & was quite good. Adam Berry as Sonny was right on with a great & unique stage delivery. Don't miss it! Collapse
