The Palo Alto Philharmonic was founded in 1988 by a group of local musicians, and has grown to include members of many communities in the Bay Area. Led by Music Director Thomas Shoebotham, this all-volunteer community orchestra presents a broad spectrum of music and soloists, while focusing on the classic repertoire beloved by our audiences. The Palo Alto Philharmonic Association exists to promote and enhance the appreciation of orchestral and chamber music for audiences of all ages, and to provide musicians in the Bay Area with the opportunity to perform and develop their talents through the presentation of high quality and innovative concerts.

	Palo Alto Philharmonic Orchestra Concert Presented by Palo Alto Philharmonic Association at Cubberley Community Center Theatre December 10, 2011 This concert features violinist David Felberg performing Paganini’s Violin Concerto No.1. The Philharmonic will also perform Hindemith’s Symphonic Metamorphosis on Themes by Carl Maria von Weber and Symphony No. 8 in B minor, D. 759 "Unfinished" by Franz Schubert.
