Visit the animals in their pens and learn about homestead farming during the annual Deer Hollow Farm Tour. Meet the new farm babies: a calf, goats, piglets, lambs, and chicks. Spend some timewith the cow, pigs, goats, rabbits, sheep, ducks and chickens. Walk through the large vegetable garden and century-old farm buildings. This is one of three Farm Tours this spring. This is one of three Farm Tours this spring. The Tours are sponsored by the nonprofit Friends of Deer Hollow Farm. Tours are 45 minutes long and are conducted in small groups led by trained docents and include the award-winning short film about Deer Hollow Farm, Lessons of the Land. The Farm’s new Nature Center will be open, along with the Friends' booth with various merchandise for sale.

Deer Hollow Farm could be closing this year. The City of Mountain View is proposing to end all funding for the Farm beginning July 1, 2010 due to budget problems. See the Official Site for information on how to keep this valuable community resource open.
