Sing Out - Speak Out Against War! A Concert With David Rovics and Hip Hop/Spoken Word Performances will be held on the 7th Anniversary of the Invasion of Iraq. It will feature a musical performance by David Rovics Spoken, word and hip hop performances by Melissa Lozano (the queen of spoken word in San Jose), Kalizay, Yosimar Reyes and Adriana Garcia. David Rovics is a professional flat-picking rabble-rouser. He tours regularly on four continents, playing for audiences large and small at cafes, pubs, universities, churches, union halls and protest rallies. He has shared the stage with a veritable Who’s Who of the left in two dozen countries, and has had his music featured on Democracy Now!, BBC, Al-Jazeera and other networks. Most importantly, he’s really good.
