  the disadvantage of small theater is the limiting of the number of cast members, unless they do a terrific job (they do) and unless they are doing a piece which has been adapted to a small cast (perfectly). The lead is awsome, and the support excellent. I rather like the shorter version as it moves along briskly without loseing any of its "panache" which is a little in joke you will need to see this wonderful adaptation to get! Collapse

  I am a New York equity actor, have met Mr. Langella and remember how hard he fought and struggled to get his vision of this play up and running at Broadway's Roundabout Theater. He would be truly proud, in my humble opinion, of everything from the intricate direction to the casting, to the heartfelt acting of this fine production. It was probably the best production I have seen anywhere since moving to the Bay area from the big apple--- do by all means please: GO! Collapse
