    Bonnie J. Smith works in two distinct areas. One being facial imagery of family members and the other being abstracts. There is a time in our lives that we have innocence in our faces and we are looking forward to the future and what life will bring us. With this thought in mind Bonnie has taken her parents and her own high school graduation pictures and worked them over and over into numerous images giving the minor celebrity status. Her abstracts are created in a totally different manner. Bonnie creates a design from a feeling or emotion, or inspired by an object of nature whose shape intrigues her. A lot of her designs are topographical in nature. For Bonnie, color is where the excitement begins.
