A founding editor of Outside Magazine, travel writer Tim Cahill is the author of seven books, including Pass the Butterworms, Pecked to Death by Ducks, Hold the Enlightenment and Lost In My Own Backyard. A former longtime Bay Area resident, he now lives in Montana.
