The tradition can be traced back 8,000 years. Nowadays, it has become a spiritual rite for new hope, new luck, new wealth, and all good wishes.

Chinese Performing Artists of America, known for its creativity in the production of high artistic spectacles, are producing this event. Co-sponsored by the City of San Jose, international media companies and private corporations, this event will be broadcast to the four corners of the world through the internet.

Spring Festival Silicon Valley 2010 is a sensational East-meets-West extravaganza. It not only showcases spectacular Chinese kung fu, dances, and acrobatics, but also international-famous vocalist from Afghanistan, ballet dancers from Cleveland Ballet, San Jose Taiko, and a guest star from China. Through artistic expression, this event celebrates America's diversity and inclusiveness, accepting diverse cultures as integral parts of the American society that make America great and strong.
