The smallest planet detected so far is about twice the size of earth, but the new Kepler space telescope, run by NASA Ames Research Center, should be able to detect Earth-like planets. Dr. Goldblatt, NASA researcher of geochemistry and co-evolution of life and Earth's climate, will discuss the following questions: Is there life on these planets? What would it be like and how would we go about finding it? How does studying the Earth help us...

Parking:
The most convenient parking is in lots C, D, and E. It's possible to drop your party off closer to the theatre at Key B, and then return after parking in another lot. You cannot park your car in Key B. Disabled parking is located in lot U above the Smith Center. Parking permits are required all day Monday through Friday, and on Saturday until 5 pm. Permits are available from vending machines in the parking lots. Season subscribers can buy advance passes from the box office.
