    Karl Allmendinger, Aeronautical Engineer and hang gliding expert, leads this free seminar. From the training hill to big mountains, big air and big miles, today's hang glider instruments have GPS systems and record flight tracks that can be displayed by many programs, including Google Earth. Learn a bit of the physics behind these beautiful soaring machines.

    Allmendinger will show still pictures, videos and flight tracks that new hang glider pilots make off the training hill, as well as longer and higher flights. His personal glider will be on display in the auditorium during the talk.
