STAGE THEATRE
My Sister Eileen
Presented by Foothill College Theatre Arts Department at Lohman Theatre - Foothill College
November 6-November 22, 2009
Two plucky sisters from Columbus, Ohio move into a basement apartment in Greenwich Village in the 1940's amidst New York's subway system construction. Their transition brings them to discover much about life in the big city and each other. Filled with memorably quirky characters and a visit from the Brazilian Navy, this charmingly humorous play, derived from the stories of Ruth McKenney, later became the basis of the musical hit Wonderful Town.
