    There will be approximately 240 singers in all, and with the support of Arts Council Silicon Valley and Applied Materials, Schola Cantorum is purchasing two pieces of music by Kirke Mechem for the choirs to learn and perform. On the morning of the 17th, they will attend a workshop with Kirke Mechem, and that evening, each school will present a 15 minute program. On the morning of the 17th, they will attend a workshop with Kirke Mechem, and that evening, each school will present a 15 minute program. At the conclusion of the concert, Gregory Wait, Music Director of Schola Cantorum will conduct the massed choir in the two Mechem pieces. It promises to be an outstanding event.
