    Head down the interstate on a cross-country caravan, as Joseph Alessi, principal trombone with the New York Philharmonic, returns to his native Bay Area to perform Bourgeois' sprarking Trombone Concerto. Other highlights of this high-octane performance include Frank Ticheli's Nitro and Mark Camphouse's Yosemite Autumn.
