The Wonder Cabinet: A FIRST 5 Early Learning Laboratory, is a 3,100 square foot exhibition dedicated to children ages four and under and the adults who accompany them. Since opening to the public in the spring of 2005, The Wonder Cabinet has supported thousands of children as they tap into their innate curiosity and desire to explore.

Children freely explore changing sensory and art table activities with trained staff. The Art Studio offers activities that will encourage young children to focus on the process of making art, rather than the finished product. In January, for example, we will provide watercolor paints, brushes and paper so children can explore painting with watercolors.
