San Jose Wind Symphony
Presented by Performing Arts for Youth Society at San Mateo Performing Arts Center
May 11, 2010
The San Jose Wind Symphony performs six to nine concerts a year at venues throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Each concert is a mixture of contemporary, classical and popular works for wind ensemble or symphonic band. A wind symphony is a collection of up to sixty musicians who play instruments of four basic types: Woodwinds, Brass and Percussion. Have your students come experience the instruments they’re learning in school!
