    Vanities centers on the life-stories and friendships of three Texas girls. In 1963 Joanne, Kathy and Mary are popular and vivacious cheerleaders. Five years later in their college sorority house, they are confronting their futures with nervous excitement. In 1974, they unite briefly in New York, but their lives have diverged to the point that they have forgotten what connected them in the first place. Vanities had one of the longest Off-Broadway runs on record. The comedy, written by Jack Heifner, was nominated for a Drama Desk Award 1976 for Outstanding New Play.

      Laughed a lot, and then I laughed some more. The acting was superb, I think the actresses embodied the characters very nicely. The plot really made me think about leaving college and I was reminded... Expand

      The show was funny, touching and sad. Really enjoyed all the actresses.. They had great chemistry on stage
