I wasn't sure what to expect from this "play about a marriage and a dog"--an offstage doggie presence? a very well-trained canine? For some reason, I didn't expect a dog portrayed by an actress...but that's what I got, and it only added to the fun of this nineties comedy examining what's really important in life. Thus comedy is a great way to start Northside's new season! Collapse

If you have ever bonded with a pet you will really identify with show and lots of levels. Cute, humorous, fun, and although not perfect, I was chuckling throughout. Beautiful set, great costuming, and solid performances by the small cast in the intimate black blox theatre. Collapse
