  I am reminded of a night before an opening when Kit said "try our little known plays, they are terrific!" Truer words could not be said. This world premiere is wonderful. From the moment the lights came up you are part of Micheal and David's lives and I found myself on the edge of my seat to find out the news each passing year. The writing is current and heartwarming, and the characters are brought to life by two amazing actors. My definition of a successful play is when you want to be part of the characters lives, after the show. Well I want to stay at the Inn( good room service) and have Micheal and David as friends.   Good play, good acting. The story did remind me a little of Brokeback (replace the going fishing with an annual conference). The big difference is that Brokeback covered a different period. A that was... Expand

  Good play, good acting. The story did remind me a little of Brokeback (replace the going fishing with an annual conference). The big difference is that Brokeback covered a different period. A that was how it was like then. Second Weekend is more contemporary, so I felt I understood it better. On a different note, I was surprised by the nudity. Ok, it was brief and tastefully done, but it was the first time I had seen anyone naked on a stage. Great music and I love the way the moved between scenes. Solid play, solid acting . . .so you should go see it. Collapse
