    Enjoy Downtown Redwood City on the new Courthouse Square by bringing the family out to a free movie! The summer experience continues with a showing of 10 movies on Thursday evenings starting at sundown (approximately 7:45pm). Come early for the best seats (a limited number of chairs and tables are available). The summer experience continues with a showing of 10 movies on Thursday evenings starting at sundown (approximately 7:45pm). Come early for the best seats (a limited number of chairs and tables are available). Bring your blankets, pick up take-out food from the nearby wonderful restaurants, and experience the outdoor "theater" on the 25 foot inflatable screen.

    The Sound of Music (PG) - Starring Julie Andrews; Christopher Plummer; 20th Century Fox; Directed by Robert Wise; 155 minutes; 1965. The Sound of Music is one of the most beloved musicals of all time, with music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II. It is based on the memoir of Maria von Trapp, The Story of the Trapp Family Singers. Many songs from the musical have become standards, including the title song (The Sound of Music), Edelweiss, My Favorite Things, Climb Ev'ry Mountain and Do-Re-Mi. When was the last time you were able to see it on the big screen?
