Gounod's Faust - Preview and Panel Discussion
Presented by Opera San Jose at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library
April 10, 2012
Opera San Jose presents a free preview of Gounod's Romantic-era masterpiece, Faust. Inspired by Goethe's legendary story of the old scholar who sells his soul to the devil for eternal youth, the one-hour program will include a performance of selected arias and duets by members of the cast. Following the performance will be a panel discussion with the creative team, moderated by Opera San Jose's general manager, Larry Hancock.
