Genealogy Program... Getting Ready for the 1940 Census
Presented by Santa Clara City Libraries at Central Park Library - Santa Clara
February 21, 2012
When the 1940 US Census is released in April 2012, there will be no name index for at least another six months. To find people, genealogists must search by location. The census is organized by Enumeration Districts (EDs) so towns and streets must be converted to an ED to access your ancestors. Steve Morse, creator of the One Step Webpages will demonstrate how to do this.
