  The play follows a young soldier, on a private army trial for supposedly committing killing against Iraqi citizens while on the war front. The play raises fascinating and disturbing questions surrounding several issues—including the moral confusion of war, callous political motives behind international combat, and universal matters of spirituality and redemption. The play is structured in nine segments which was interesting and different to watch. I enjoyed watching the actors/actresses facial expression in this play they seemed so realistic and heart touching. The lighting was good and the scenic was ok, I felt that a few variations would have been better. The actors did an wonderful job with expiring there voice as well.

  9 circles is an emotional play conducting the 9 phases of war. Throughout the courses of struggle, the actors portrayed very convincing characters. During the entire play the audience was intrigued with all the action that was happening. Without giving away the play, i assure you that you will be hanging on the end of your seat. Watch and observe these characters endure the hardships of war. Overall, you will love it just like I did. Very inspirational. Collapse

  "Nine Circles" directed by Kathleen Normington was a great play to watch. The play mixed the elements of comedy, action, and drama to create a powerful and thought-provoking performance. The play's lighting and sound effects made the audience feel a part of the scenes and were used effectively to create an emotionally-powerful ending. The main character's intense personality kept the audience at the edge of their seats in anticipation of what would result from his often rash actions, while his clever wit continuously stirred up laughter among the audience and helped to ease tension during intense scenes. The play stayed entertaining throughout and did a great job of portraying the Iraq War through an American soldier's perspective. I would recommend this play to anyone who enjoys action and suspense, however I would not recommend the play to children under the age of eighteen as the play contains profanity and mature themes. Overall, the play was definitely worth watching. Collapse
