    No need for repentance in this class. You will be using precise and geometric cuts and patterns to map out and make your own pocket sized prayer rug. Your color palette will be rich purples, golds, and reds. The end result is a balanced array of lines and patterns. In addition to mosaic techniques, you also will be learning to bead between glass tiles -- giving a more tactile feel to the tapestry. You should consider bringing some special...

    No need for repentance in this class. You will be using precise and geometric cuts and patterns to map out and make your own pocket sized prayer rug. Your color palette will be rich purples, golds, and reds. The end result is a balanced array of lines and patterns. In addition to mosaic techniques, you also will be learning to bead between glass tiles -- giving a more tactile feel to the tapestry. You should consider bringing some special token or piece from home as a center to this altar. Using the direct application method (no need to grout), your piece will be finished by days end. The final project is 4” x 6”. Tweezers are a fun tool in this class --bring your favorites.
