The Evolution of New Park Estate in Santa Clara - Big Read Event

Santa Clara's Honorary City Historian, Lorie Garcia, will display late 19th and early 20th century maps, a historical newspaper, and photographs to illustrate the history of the Santa Clara estate, origninally know as New Park Estate, which served as Jack London's model for the estate where his novel, The Call of the Wild, opens. Get a feel for what Santa Clara looked like 100 years ago!
