    Sinfonia - Orchestra Concert

    Under the direction music director Benjamin Simon, Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra's Sinfonia is comprised of young musicians with excellent technical skills, working to cultivate artistic quality and maturity.This concert will feature Isabella Costanza, a 9th grade violinist in Senior PACO and winner of the 2010 Concerto Competition, performing Mozart's delightful Violin Concerto No. 3 in G Major.

    The program also includes Franz Schubert's little-known Overture in C minor (D. 8), Erwin Schulhoff’s String Quartet No.1's first movement arranged for string orchestra and Resphigi's popular Ancient Airs and Dances Suite No. 3. In addition to the four primary pieces, chamber music will be performed by small ensembles of Sinfonia members.
