    Sad But True revels in and plays music from the Great American Songbook, blues and jazz standards and popular music from several eras. The Sad But True trio is Khamlapati Khalsa, Tom Morales and Mike Simpson. All three members are vocalists and play a variety of instruments in several genres. Sad But True mixes new twists with classic styles, inspired by Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Gordon Sumner.
