    This double-feature is part of Stanford Theatre's Summer Festival in downtown Palo Alto. An organist performs between most showings in this classic movie palace. Both of tonight's films star Fred Astaire In Shall We Dance, a budding romance between a ballet master (Astaire) and a tapdancer (Ginger Rogers) becomes complicated when rumours surface that they're already married. In The Sky's the Limit, Flying Tiger Fred Atwell (Astaire) sneaks away...

    In Shall We Dance, a budding romance between a ballet master (Astaire) and a tapdancer (Ginger Rogers) becomes complicated when rumours surface that they're already married.

    In The Sky's the Limit, Flying Tiger Fred Atwell (Astaire) sneaks away from his famous squadron's personal appearance tour and goes incognito for several days of leave. He quickly falls for photographer Joan Manion (Joan Leslie), pursuing her in the guise of a carefree drifter.

    Street parking is available but hard to come by. There are two large public parking structures within two blocks of the theatre. One is on Bryant Street, in the first block north of University Avenue. The other is on High Street, in the first block south of University Avenue.
