    The program will feature three interestingly varied works from the first quarter of the 20th century. Erwin Schulhoff's Duo is a wonderfully crafted work showcasing the violin and cello through exhilarating Eastern European dance elements contrasted with poignantly beautiful singing lines.     The program will feature three interestingly varied works from the first quarter of the 20th century. Erwin Schulhoff's Duo is a wonderfully crafted work showcasing the violin and cello through exhilarating Eastern European dance elements contrasted with poignantly beautiful singing lines. The Rachmaninoff Sonata pulls the listener into the distinctively romantic style of the composer, filled with gorgeous melodic lines and brilliantly virtuosic writing for the piano. And Ravel's genius for orchestration is fully evident in his Piano Trio, through his use of seemingly endless color possibilities and a vocal approach to his unique melodic writing.

    Performing with Christopher are Debra Fong, violin and Christine McLeavey, piano.
