Embers of War is a powerful eighty-minute adaptation of Homer’s great poem of war and self-discovery. In this version of the Iliad (translated by Rush Rehm), we meet the great heroes of the Trojan War — Achilles, Agamemnon, Hector, Paris, Ajax, Patroclus. But we also encounter the women of Troy — Hecuba, Andromache, Helen — and the immortal gods who stand above the conflict but find themselves inextricably...
