    Research shows that reading books and having regular conversations with children -- even, long before they can speak -- makes them better thinkers, better communicators and, eventually, better readers. Learn the joy of reading, singing and playing with language in a group setting during storytimes with trained staff who adapt the activities to the age ranges and attention spans of the children in each group. Museum staff use whimsical props as they read award-winning books and lead engaging activities. Designed for children ages 4 and under.

    Parking:

    Parking is available in the city-owned lots on Woz Way and around the Museum. The parking lots that surround the Museum charge variable rates based on events scheduled in the downtown area, and CDM has no control over the daily rate. Handicapped parking is available in the Museum's loading zone, adjacent to Woz Way. County transit bus lines and Light Rail trains stop near the Museum.
