    DANCING WITH FRED is a fun and lively musical about Fred Swenson who,
    after 41 New York auditions in five years, has still not achieved his
    dream of musical comedy stardom. His idol (and onstage mentor) is an
    accomodating and other-wordly Fred Astaire, whose hilarious
    observations about his namesake's obsession (and lack of perceivable
    talent) pepper this invigorating script.
