    Opera San José wants YOU!

    Want to go behind the scenes at Opera San José? Volunteers are needed now to work at the administrative offices to support the Box Office for the upcoming season. Qualified individuals will be trained to utilize the box office system, and will assist the Box Office Manager with phone, fax, email, and in-person patron ticketing requests. Knowledge and skills required: Computer friendly, outgoing, able to work under pressure, detailed and accurate. Hours: Weekdays, minimum 4-hours per week, ideally from 11-3pm. Shifts also needed at the California Theatre during production – 6:15pm to 8:15pm for evening performances, or 1:15pm to 3:15pm on Sundays Volunteers are required to make a four-month commitment.
